A Celebration of Sea and Land Church's

200th Anniversary

Saturday, June 29 at 3:30pm - 5:30pm

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the completion of the landmark Land and Sea Church, you are invited to a special event hosted by the First Chinese Presbyterian Church and Lower East Side Preservation Initiative.  The Rev. Dr. Bayer Lee will present an illustrated lecture on the history of the church, which began as the Northeast Dutch Reformed Church, was later renamed Sea and Land Church to serve nearby East River dock and shipyard workers, and since 1951 has been home to its Chinese American congregation. Following the lecture will be a tour of the church and an informal reception.

This event is free - registration is required: to register see HERE.

Meet at the corner of Henry Street and Market Street, in front of the church
